EMO LOVE

Emo love is when both emo girl and emo boy (some times same sex)think that there loving relationship will last for ever and think that the foundations of there relation ship will never break that may be the reason why there are so many emo kids now a days but sadly the relation dose break maybe by a fatal fake suicide that went wrong and actually did succeed in killing his/her self after all the times you went to gigs to gether all the meaning full shags you had to gether and all the memories you alone will remember. Hope fully this WONT HAPPEN!!.

Truth: emo love is the same as any ordinary relation ship but with poems blinding love absolutely no cheating and proud to say that there an emo couple oh and cutting if you or your emo partner is into that kinna thing. to be honest it depends how romantic you are toward your emo lover and if your a guy YOU MUST tell her/him that you love her and emo girls should do the same provided that he said "I love you" first

EMO PEOPLE

No it's not Elmo, it's emo.
After reading a few ranting posts of Thomas' blog, I feel the need to likewise express my thoughts on some SUPER COMMON misconceptions and misunderstanding of the word emo.
Emo is not a mood or a temporary attitude of a person, contrary to many people's beliefs. Us Asians tend to immediately link a person who is suddenly and inexplicably quiet, reserved or has some other withdrawn, sullen demeanour. What will we say?

Eh. Why're you emo-ing?

Or we could talk behind his/her back and say Why's he/she emo-ing?

Emo doesn't necessarily mean a short form of the word emotional. Emo is ACTUALLY:
A style of rock music typically characterized by melodic musicianship and expressive, often confessional lyrics. - Wikipedia
A genre of softcore punk music that integrates unenthusiastic melodramatic 17 year olds who dont smile, high pitched overwrought lyrics and inaudible guitar rifts with tight wool sweaters, tighter jeans, itchy scarfs (even in the summer), ripped chucks with favorite bands signature, black square rimmed glasses, and ebony greasy unwashed hair that is required to cover at least 3/5 ths of the face at an angle. - Urban Dictionary

A culture or music style somewhat similar to Goth people. - Own definition ^^

Please do not wrongly use 'emo' to describe people, cuz 'emo' is a vast culture from the US. You haven't seen 'an' emo yet. So please, do not label people who are suddenly quiet, fuming inside, sullen, sulking etc, AS AN EMO.

We humans have emotions, obviously. Being emotional is what makes us human. So to call a certain person 'emo' is kinda weird isn't it? We all have emotions, so why state the obvious? I do not know who invented the mindset of emo in our country but I AM GROWING TIRED of being called AND seeing people getting called emo just because they are playing moving, emotional music on the piano? Listening to emotional music? Sulking? Suddenly quiet because of some internal disagreement?

Enough. I am not emo. We are not emo. Emo does not exist in our country.

Yet.

But you argue, then how about all those emo music? people moping around emo-ing cuz of their bf/gf? Let me ask you, are all music composers who make music emo? Obviously don't look at mainstream etc. Are all instrumental music emo?

IS YIRUMA EMO?

Suck on that for a while. We are not emo. Distinguish sulking vs emo vs passionate please.

DEEP EMO CUT

Following up on our notorious Emo Pics post, Best Gore is back with more emo cuts, this time the cuts are deeper, longer and bloodier. This time it is also obvious that this emo kid cut himself (or herself, can’t say for sure with these skinny people) for the show. He’s spreading the cuts open and taking pictures from all different angles. He’s also playing with his own blood he had collected in the bucket and takes pictures of it all to show how awesome he is. Clearly showing off in this case, I’m pretty sure of that one.

WHAT ARE EMO'S LIKE.?

Firstly, labeling someone as an emo based on their hair style is a poor way to interpret personal expression, just as calling someone a goth based on their preference for black clothing. Whether or not a person listens to emo music, writes emo poetry, or adopts an alternative lifestyle is a personal decision that does not automatically have anything to do with the colour or cut of their hair. Emo styles are unique, individual looks that say a lot about the persons style, but the emotions behind them may never be understood by anyone else.

Elements Of Emo Fashion for Girls in 2012

Emo fashion for girls is making them more attractive and showing the inward beauty on the outside. Girls who want to get attention and look good doing it, turn to emo style. This attention seeking is the heart of what an emo is. Emo style only helps to serve this purpose of attracting others into their individual world. To become emo, one only has to change the way they dress, put on makeup, change the accessories and jewelry they wear, get a shocking hairstyle, and how they walk. Each of these elements must be unique or the look will not work.
To truly be emo, it is important that they dress correctly. The variety of clothes that fit into emo style are endless. There are many color and designs that can be used. As with any other clothing style, it is essential to find the right cut of clothing to fit each individual body style. Hair should also be cut to fit the individual face shape while keeping with the emo style. If you find the right emo style, it can bring out charm and beauty. The wrong hairstyle will make you look and feel less confident than you should. Since emo is all about emotion, your look should reflect how you feel and be easily changed to show whatever mood you are in at the time.
Emo makeup and jewelry complete the outfit. Makeup is necessary to show off true emo style. Dark eyes with purples, blues, greens, and grays are needed in the eyeshadow department. Heavy foundation is needed to supply a perfect base. Jewelry and accessories designs can be as different as the emo style you choose. The more emo you are, the more colors and designs you incorporate into your style. It is all about your emotions and how you feel.

Emo Style Basics To Get You Started

Everyone knows that emo only means one thing, emotional. Emo culture has its own music, look, and clothing styles. The music is a mix of punk and hard rock. The style of clothing and the personality of the emo is that of someone wanting a lot of attention. To truly have total emo style there are some fashion elements that are necessary. Jackets, hair, shirts, shoes, pants, and accessories must be combined in such a way as to reflect their true feelings.
Hoodies are the popular style of jacket for the emo. The darker colors are better. Retro style jackets will also work with emo style. Loose fitting jeans are out and tight jeans are in. if the jeans are a little long this is OK but cuffs of any kind are a definite no-no. Tight shirts work best. Bright colors are better than dark ones. Graphic tees are a good choice as long as they reflect your current mood. Band tees are also great. Skull designs are pretty popular also. It is common to see long sleeve shirts under the short tees for a layered look.

Emo hairstyles are pretty easy to achieve and can be done at home. It might be that you choose a shaggy messed up hairstyle. Medium length hair works best in emo. The majority of emo guys and gals have black hair they goes to one side covering the eye. Retro style shoes are great but need to be simple in design. Canvas sneakers with wide colorful laces are in. there are a few brand name shoes that are more popular than others. Scarves and wrist bands are a popular fashion accessory with the emo crowds. Scarves are great with multiple colors if they are simple designs. They need to be very long to work with this style. You don’t have to wait for cold weather either as scarves can be worn anytime the mood strikes.

EMO HAIR

emo hair

This goes for girls and also for boys!

Let your hair grow in the front and side parts so they cover your face. In the back you can let it short and spike it up with gel! Some do that, some don't! If you have short hair, the first months are going to be a pain, because you won't be able to make your hair look "emo". As it grows, comb it towards an eye in the direction that you want. After 3 or 4 months, when the fringe reaches 3/4 of the way down your forehead, go to a hair dresser that looks professional, and get it thinned out and have it trimmed so that it will grow in the right shape.

Either if you're a boy or girl, you'll need to straighten your hair, with either an iron or gel. If your hair is wavy, just use hairspray/gel to weigh it down. I suggest buying an hair straightening iron and use a a good moisturizing shampoo to prevent your hair from getting damaged. Tip: If you wash your hair too much, this can dry it out; that doesn't mean you don't have to wash it at all, bleah.

If you consider dyeing your hair, dye it black. The other colors are not so cool and you'll look like a clown, in my opinion.

After 3 or 4 months, your hair should look like you want. From that point, you should go to the hair stylist monthly for your hair to be thinned and stuff.

Final step is to register and post a picture with you in the "emo haircuts" thread members have opened on our board.

EMO CLOTHING

 Emo Clothing

By almost all current definitions, emo clothing is characterized by tight jeans on males and females alike, long fringe (bangs) often brushed to one side of the face, dyed black, straightened hair, tight t-shirts which often bear the names of rock bands, studded belts, belt buckles, Chuck Taylor All-Stars, skate shoes, or other black shoes (often old and beaten up) and thick, black horn-rimmed glasses. Prepare you hair for your new hair style with the high end hair conditioner for the best results..

FALL OUT BOY

 Fall Out Boy Biography

Pete Wentz who was the band’s bassist and back up singer is also famous for his marriage to Ashley Simpson. The lead vocalist was Patrick Stump. Joe Trohman was the lead guitarist and Andy Hurley was the drummer. Fall Out Boy was formed in 2001 when Pete, a experienced former vocalist for Arma Angelus (metalcore band) started to write songs just for fun with his friend Joe Trohman. Joe later met Patrick at a convention bookstore. Pete later introduced Andy to the band, because he was a friend and they played together in punk rock bands before

When they put out a demo in 2002, immediately record labels from the east to west coast were interested.

Fall Out Boy became very popular in 2005 with its debut, From Under the Cork Tree. The album won several awards including a double platinum status after selling more than 2.5 million US albums. They went on to tour in 2005 and 2006. In 2007 the band released Infinity on High to major chart success, reaching #1 on the Billboard 200. The lead single, "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race", reached #1 on the Pop 100 and #2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The band has been described as having a very eclectically creativity. For example, in their albums Take This To Your Grave and From Under The Cork Tree are both said to have pop punk as well as punk rock sounds and influences, and Infinity on High has a wide range of styles and instruments, including orchestral and choral arrangements. The band has also teamed up with various producers and artists, including The Neptunes, Timbaland, Lil' Wayne and Kanye West. Even after the band took a break, their member’s creativity did not stop. Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley started to work with Every Time I Die and Anthrax to create a metal supergroup called The Damned Things.

Many consider Fall Out Boy to be a pop punk or Emo Band. Pete has mentioned the emo group The Get Up Kids to be an critical influence on their music. Pete is also the bands main lyricist since he has had much angst growing up and trying to find his place in the world. It has given him a unique view in life in which he expresses through in lyrics using irony and other literary techniques. It is no wonder he can relate to emo music.

When he was growing up, Pete felt like everyone was having so many expectations of him that he didn’t know who he was anymore as he tried to fit all these roles on. That was probably why he was particularly inspired by a children’s book called “The Story of Ferdinand” by Munro Leaf. The story was about a giant bull who loved to sit under a cork tree and smell flowers instead of getting into the ring and fighting a bullfighter as he was expected to do.

Finding himself was a long path for Pete as he dealt with Bipolar disorder and fought with depressive/suicidal thoughts. In his own words – "It's so hard to think about and understand. I'm not making an argument for being a disturbed genius; I was a confused kid. I felt like I was Pete Wentz for everybody else, and I didn't have Pete Wentz to turn to." Sometimes carrying a gift requires great strength, and we are certainly grateful that Pete Wentz was able to manage his own to give us such great music to rock to!
